End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Dilinx Inc. ("Licensor") for the use of the BetaBite mobile application ("Application").

1. License Grant

Dilinx Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use BetaBite on a mobile device that you own or control, strictly in accordance with this EULA.

2. License Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Application or any portion of it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or transfer the Application to any third party.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the Application.
• Use the Application for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by this EULA.

3. Ownership

The Application is licensed, not sold. Dilinx Inc. retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Application, including all intellectual property rights. Your data (inventory, photos, recipes) remains yours.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application integrates with third-party services (Supabase, Azure OpenAI, Expo). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Dilinx Inc. is not responsible for third-party service availability or performance.

5. Updates

Dilinx Inc. may release updates to the Application from time to time. Updates may be required for continued use. This EULA applies to all updates unless a separate EULA is provided.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL DILINX INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APPLICATION.

8. Food Safety Disclaimer

BetaBite provides AI-generated expiry tracking and recipe suggestions as a convenience tool. These should not be used as the sole basis for food safety decisions. Always use your own judgment regarding food freshness and safety. Dilinx Inc. is not liable for any health issues arising from reliance on the Application's suggestions.

9. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies.

10. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles.
