These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BetaBite mobile application ("App") provided by Dilinx Inc. ("we", "our", or "us"). By using BetaBite, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BetaBite, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BetaBite is a smart pantry management app that allows you to:

• Scan receipts and fridge photos to track food inventory.
• Monitor expiry dates and receive notifications.
• Get AI-generated recipe suggestions based on your inventory.
• Manage a shopping list.
• Connect with friends for collaborative cooking (Potluck).

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use BetaBite. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• Harass or abuse other users through the Potluck or friends features.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.

5. AI-Generated Content

BetaBite uses AI to scan receipts, identify food items, and generate recipe suggestions. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated results may contain errors. Always verify scanned items and expiry dates.
• Recipe suggestions are for informational purposes. Consider allergies, dietary restrictions, and food safety practices.
• We are not responsible for any adverse outcomes from following AI-generated recipes.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (photos, inventory data). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content to provide our services.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Dilinx Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

BetaBite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dilinx Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BetaBite.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario.
